About the event

Speaker: Debbie Lyons, Bird Atlas Researcher & Expert Birder

Monday, April 24, 6-7:30 pm Kennebunk Free Library, 112 Main Street Kennebunk

Join birding expert Debbie Lyons on a storytelling journey to learn about the birds we see and the birds we hear here on the Seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire. She will share stories from fields, forests, wetlands and mountains of listening, watching and tracking a huge variety of birds. While the incredible diversity of species in our area allows for exciting sightings year round, Debbie will talk about her local experiences seeing shifts in migratory patterns and habitat diversity – real live examples of global climate change.

Debbie’s engaging style will leave you wanting to start a birding practice of your own! Please join us in Kennebunk or York for these free events! Pre-registration is not required but is encouraged.
